The AMX Alarm Management Server informs, alerts and mobilises with via OMM (Open Mobility Manager) from Aastra, in connection with the new SIP-DECT base stations. The new OMM platform contains a XML interface and offers the following new features when compared to the current integrated DECT solutions:
- Text-based alerting, even without language resources.
- Long text messages with Scrolling
- Bi-directional data traffic between the mobile handset and AMX
- Alarm tone control via XML
- Accept, ignore an alert message with telephone keypad
- Depositing of acknowledged (accepted) messages in the Assignment Box
- Deletion of an ignored message from the memory
- In the case of a parallel alert to several people, the message is deleted from all participants as soon as one participant acknowledges the message.
The AMX Alarm Management Server is available for Windows 7, Windows Server 2008, and also in a virtualised environment (VMware). As well as VOIP (SIP, RTP & XML), the classic TDM connection continues to be supported. In addition, the AMX Release 10 is also equipped with the localisation application.
As a member of the Aastra Approved Partner Program (A2P2), the solution is qualified.
